Wow, that must be huge for that kid. He must be thrilled drumming for NIN!

I hope this doesnt hold up the next Lostprophets album though.

I couldn’t care less if it holds up recording for a new lostprophets album, they turned shithouse along time ago. Ilan is a sick drummer though

I disagree that Lostprophets “turned shithouse”. I enjoyed the previous album to be honest and I know a lot of people on here did, too, and ‘Start Something’ was amazing so I don’t know where you get “a long time ago” either.

Plus, I doubt it’s holding up anything on the album anyways since they’re starting over on it completely according to a recent news post. I assume they’ll be re-writing existing stuff and writing totally new stuff so I’m sure the other guys will be working on it without him for a month or so while he’s helping NIN out for a few weeks.

I personally cannot wait for the new LP album. I think starting over was a great idea if they weren’t satisfied with what they were getting from their previous producer.

Great opportunity for Ilan, chance of a lifetime.

But what a risky move for Freese, I hope he as something to fall back on during these troubled times. I mean, what if The Vandals, Offspring, A Perfect Cirlce, Devo, Sting, Avril Lavigne, Daughtry, Rob Zombie, Kelly Clarkson, Hollywood Undead, (and about 20 other bands/American Idols) stop making albums? I’d hate to see him doing Sinatra tunes in some Vegas lounge act to make ends meet. Scary stuff. :)
