Looking at the tracklist, I honestly believe that Hinder are making a great effort to make the worst rock album ever. I have to commend them for it - they might suck, but they suck with pride. They put out their big dumb guitar riffs, guy singing who sounds like he has a hernia, and lyrics so dumb that they were probably found in Nickelback’s trash receptacles, and they do it with no shame at all. That does take balls of steel. So for that, I’ve gotta hand it to Hinder.

Mmm…Haterade. Is is fruit punch? Ooh…I like that fruit punch and orange X Factor stuff. They sell it at the 7-11 here in Leavenworth. I’m honestly sad that I’m moving to Chicago in a few days because there will be no more X Factor. Sad face.

That’s the same air date as Nickelback’s new single will come out. Whoo-hee!
I take it Nickelback will outdo Hinder in that department. Have to wait and see.

Buckcherry, Hinder, Theory of a Deadman … they all take an influence of the 80s heyday of “fun” rock I’ve heard it’s called. Hinder mentions that will be the showcase as the new record shows. Glad to see, at least, ‘Use Me’, milked its worth on rock radio that it can’t do no more

Um, Haterade? I’ll have to wait and see if there’s a song that reminisces of “Lips of an Angel” and it’ll be a hating game from there.

meh… A few good songs from the last album, but I’m not really marking this album as something to look forward to…

I’m done ragging on Buckcherry. I’ve decided that they have a few songs that are guilty pleasures (no, not “Sorry” - I would imagine that song is played on a loop in the third stage of hell). I’m not jumping aboard the bandwagon, but at least they don’t pretend to be something they’re not.

The thing about Hinder that makes them possibly the worst rock band in music (I might still rank Goo Goo Dolls below them, since they used to be terrific but they decided to become the cheesiest pop balladeers this side of Air Supply) is the fact that not only is everything they do corny and played out to death, but that they have the nerve to go around trashing bands that are better than them (OK Go and Radiohead, if I’m not mistaken). That’s like The Jonas Brothers trying to cut down Tool. Their music is shallow and excessively commercial, but they seem to consider themselves brilliant artists. And that’s where I have a problem with Hinder.
