Linkin Park’s Mike Shinoda told The Pulse of Radio that the band has been writing and recording demos on the road this year and could release a new album next year. The band is currently in the middle of their Projekt Revolution Tour.

Static-X have a live DVD titled ‘Cannibal Killer‘ scheduled to hit stores on October 7th.
The band recently started work on their follow-up to 2006’s ‘Cannibal‘. A 2009 release is expected.

Bleeding Through have signed with Nuclear Blast for the European release of their new album ‘Declaration‘. The album will be released on September 26th in Europe and on September 30th in the U.S. via Trustkill.

Our Lady Peace front-man Raine Maida’s solo debut ‘The Hunter’s Lullaby‘ will hit stores on August 26th. A digital version of the album was originally released in 2007. Six tracks from the disc can be streamed on MySpace.

Evans Blue has parted ways with vocalist Kevin Matisyn due to “musical differences.” The band called his contribution to the group “incomparable,” and are wishing him success with his solo career. The band stated they have “amazing new songs” and are “poised and ready to move forward.”
