I know he’s not relevant anymore but Alice Cooper’s new album “Along Came A Spider” is also out today.

Scars On Broadway is really not all that great. Serj and Daron need to let their powers combine.

What Daron NEEDS to do is shut up and play guitar. System were at their best when Serj handled 90% of the vocals

I disagree. I think Daron is a great contrast to Serj. Always has been. I realize I’m probably in the minority here, but I think it works when it’s 50/50.

yeah im with deuce…..but i never was a big fan of daron’s voice i think he has a very annoying scream also….and not to mention hes a very ignorant person….seen that fuse interview they had a few years back and i wish the chick that was interviewing them would have just slapped him for how ignorant he was to her it was uncalled for.

If I was Chris, I’d probably be ashamed of writing this poor taste of news.

Anyone know if the Tantric cd is available just on iTunes? I’d like to get a physical copy, just wondered if they were available.
Also, as for as SOAD goes, Serj is awesome, Daron doing back up was cool, but let’s face it, the fans that have been with the band since the beginning are used to Serj, not the whiny emo noise Daron makes. Also, I did, and still do enjoy Hypnotize and Mesmerize.

Scars on Broadway’s album is very great. The sound remind me of “Mesmerize/Hypnotize” era SOAD. Not as heavy but still has the ‘tude. I love both of their voices. Serj is my favorite but Daron is still very unique.
It’s a good CD. I think “Elect The Dead” was a better album so far but i have had way more time with that CD.
SOAD>Serj>Scars but they all = awesome, unique and electic

Serj’s ‘Elect the Dead’ doesn’t tread on anything new compared to him being with the innovative SOAD. I didn’t mind how Daron sang based on Scars on Broadway’s Myspace album stream preview. SOAD has the talent to bring the house down, but Daron says putting SOAD on ‘indefinite hiatus’ is a good thing to expand ideas with Scars.
If SOAD is ready to put another record out, I’m waiting for a release date, then pwahh! Gimme! Gimme! I want it.

Daron absolutely made me dislike System Of A Down, when he decided he wanted to sing more. I dislike that man with a passion.

I can’t stand Daron’s “singing” in SOAD (or at least the last two albums), but I think the way he sings in SOB fits the music.
Actually…I hated most of his guitar work on the last two albums too. He just overuses that fast muting and while he has some decent riffs, I always felt a lot of them were bland or cliched.

Actually was wondering if Broken Down had a physical release and not just a release through iTunes.
