I really hope he’ll be able to break from the idol moldings. He’s such a great talent (i’ve got his pre-idol stuff and it’s amazing).

I wouldn’t say better than Daughtry…at least not yet.

I know his solo stuff and his Axium stuff is quite popular…probably moreso than Daughtry’s previous band Absent Element.

Although, I’m not completely sold on Cook yet. He still has a lot to prove.

I’ve known David for about 7 years now. In my opinion, he’s proved all that he’s needed to prove. And is better than Daughtry.

I say he needs to take some time off and go sign up for “Dancing With The Stars” before really getting his hands dirty and recording an album… I think it will give his career that extra boost it needs to start selling 1,000,000 downloads in a day… not a week! =)
