U2 has signed a 12-year deal with Live Nation which covers merchandising, touring and digital and branding rights of U2. The band will continue to release music via Universal Music Group. Financial details of the deal have not been disclosed.

Rumors have begun surfacing online that the original lineup of Korn may be reuniting in the near future. However, the rumors seem highly unlikely with the band’s former guitarist Brian “Head” Welch still heavily touring the Christian circuit including a performance at the upcoming Cornerstone Festival in July.

The Wallflowers front-man Jakob Dylan’s upcoming solo album ‘Seeing Things‘ has been delayed and will now see a June 10th release. Two tracks from the album are available on MySpace.

The Foxboro Hot Tubs, the side project of Green Day, have posted a new track titled “Pedestrian” on their MySpace page. The bands debut album ‘Stop Drop and Roll!!! is due out on April 29th.
