The band recently completed work on their new album with Morgan Rose of Sevendust and producer Shawn Grove (Sevendust, Collective Soul).

Motley Crue drummer Tommy Lee has stated that the bands 2008 world tour will kick off on July 4th. The band is expected to release their ninth studio album tentatively titled ‘The Dirt‘ on July 8th. The first single from the album will be released to radio in May.

The Verve have announce a few U.S. spring tour dates leading up to the release of their new album. The as-yet-untitled disc is expected to hit stores in June via EMI. Dates include:

The 80’s return. Cinderella will be touring this summer with Warrant. Lynam will also be on the tour. Dates will be announced in the coming weeks.

The Smashing Pumpkins will contribute a previously unreleased track titled “SuperChrist” to an upcoming Guitar Center compilation. The CD will be available at all Guitar Center’s on March 1st. A video for the track can be viewed here.

A trailer for Unearth’s upcoming DVD ‘Alive From the Apocalypse‘ is now online at this location. The DVD is due out on March 18th.
