Gotta get it clear through everybody’s thick heads. The seed of Ozzfest is expanding into other events like the newest Rockstar Mayhem tour.

You know Taste of Chaos + Vans Warped Tour that get held through every summer that it has existed? The founders for Rockstar are none other than Vans Warped Tour founder Kevin Lyman, and by John Reese (who is Lyman’s partner on the Taste of Chaos tour).

Seems to me that there will be events that you will absolutely crave about coming back for more. Then it seems that they overlap. Sounds of the Underground proves that the fruit has indeed came to rot. Not much help there, I’m afraid.

i have no idea what the guy above me said. anyway, i never went to this tour. but still, it was cool to know that ppl who are into that type of music had a tour they could see.

Sounds Of The Underground was awesome. This sadens me. Musc needs an underground tour like this.

I find it funny that he says we have “thick heads” yet no one can understand a word he says. I wish Chris would just delete his posts anytime he makes one.

I mean underground in the sense that you won’t hear any of these bands on your local FM station and most people are ignorant to this kind of music.

It had some heavy hitters, but also some fairly small bands from a scene that is still fairly underground.

I work at a bowling alley and we get lots of high schoolers and I know for a fact that NONE of them have even heard of bands like Clutch, Poison The Well, High On Fire, Behemoth and The Red Chord for example.

but….

I do work in a very hillbilly-esque, redneck, ass backwards, beer drinkin, girl chasin, god fearin’…(sorry almost got into a rant) sort of city.
