Billboard is reporting that Ticketmaster and Cablevision (Madison Square Garden, Fuse) are on the verge of collectively acquiring a 49% stake in AEG Live, the second-largest concert promoter in the United States. AEG’s tours took in $742 million last year.

The release date for Def Leppard’s new album ‘Songs from the Sparkle Lounge‘ has been changed once again. The album is now set for an April 29th date instead of the previously announced May 6th date.

Sixx A.M. were planning a tour. Then the tour was canceled. Then they planned to tour again and now that tour has been postponed due to “unforeseen circumstances”. The latest tour was supposed to kick off in April, but now the band will “most likely” hit the road in the summer of 2008.
