According to billboard.com, this year’s Ozzfest is expected to go out only in a limited run. With an “aged” Ozzy, the success of Dave Mustaine’s Gigantour, and the birth of the new Rockstar Mayhem Tour, could this finally be the end of Ozzfest as we know it?

Sevendust guitarist John Connolly has confirmed that the band will join Slipknot, Disturbed and others for the upcoming Rockstar Energy Mayhem tour, which will hit 30 Live Nation amphitheaters in North America during July and August.

U2’s manager Paul McGuinnes is spearheading a campaign to end illegal music downloads from the Internet by calling on Internet Service Providers (ISP) to immediately introduce disconnection policies in a bid to deter illegal downloads. McGuinnes is also urging the government to prosecute companies if they fail to prevent illegal file-sharing.

Motley Crue bassist Nikki Sixx stated recently that the band has 10 songs completed for a new Crue album that will be titled ‘The Dirt‘. With Tommy Lee out of the band, there’s been no word yet on a replacement.
