The Course of Nature album is really a good come back album for them. Especially since its been what, 6 years since their debut? I hope it does well.
I think the fact that they have not toured leading up to the release and there are no real solid tour plans until April-ish will hurt them though.

I’m a little curious about Course of Nature, but not until I hear more from it…

The best of spineshank. Interesting. If not for the retarded shipping prices, I bet you could buy all 3 albums on ebay for less than what that “best of” would cost you. Look around used stores and you could probably still come close.
Contract filler I suppose. Wish it were new material.

Good day for releases. I wish I had the money to go buy them right now. :P I’ve heard the new BFMV and Course of Nature, both excellent albums. I agree with you Chris that Course of Nature are going to probably hurt themselves not trying to promote the album with a tour or something right now. It’ll show in the album sales. And yes, I believe it was 2002 that their debut came out… hell of a long time to wait for a measly 10 song album which is my only problem with the album really.

I just picked up the BFMV CD at Target, no bonus tracks. Are there any bonus tracks from other stores for this CD that I should know about?

Just want to say that I hate Hastings. Their little computer said they had two copies of the COS album, so I go searching… first on the new release shelf, then the shelf where they sometimes mix the new releases in with the popular stuff, then to the “C” section where I found Chris Daughtry, but not Course of Nature… blah

I don’t even know why people go to Hastings. It’s crap haha. I’ve done the same thing looking for an album before, Chris. Says it’s there and sure enough it’s magically disappeared. Sometimes they may have them in the back (I’ve done that at Best Buy before when they said they had something but it wasn’t on the shelf).
There’s like 4 bonus tracks for the new BFMV:
1. “Ashes of The Innocent” (Special edition bonus track)
2. “No Easy Way Out” (Robert Tepper cover) (Japanese bonus track)
3. “Say Goodnight (Acoustic Version)” (iTunes bonus track)
4. “Creeping Death” (Metallica Cover)
