The Used are set to begin work on their next full length album in January. The band issued the following update on their MySpace:
“For our future plans we’re going to start writing and recording in January-March, we will be playing a few shows during that time as well so keep your ears and eyes open. [...]

In Flames, Children of Bodom, Job for a Cowboy, High on Fire and Megadeth will take part in the 2008 Gigantour which will kick off in April. Dates will be announced soon.

Life of Agony vocalist Keith Caputo will release his new solo album ‘Fondness for Hometown Scars‘ in Europe via Suburban Records next year. Clips for the album are available here.

Live Nation will launch their own ticket service in North American and Europe on January 1st, 2009. They will partner with CTS Eventium for the service which will allow Live Nation to control customer data to create “enhanced ticket-based concert products”.

Faktion have streamed two more new demo songs on their MySpace page, including “Burn” and “Be Here Lately”. The band is planning on recording five more new songs in March with producer Justin Thomas who they recorded their debut self-titled album with.
